Located in the southwest Calgary’s inner city is Mission, which was originally the Notre Dame de la Paix. During the year 1899, the community was incorporated to the Rouleauville Village for a short period of time. Now, it has become a residence to many people.
The community hosts the Lilac Festival during the month of May. Residents are often at the 4th Street because of the many trendy business establishments in the area. Some of the business establishments in the area are the Mucho Burrito, tea Urbana, Coco and Violet, and Vin Room Mission. Residents can do their groceries at Safeway, while for residents who prefer nature, Roxboro Park is just a few steps away from any point of Mission.
For schools, parents can enroll their children at St. Monica Elementary & Junior High School, St. Mary’s Senior High School, and Western Canada Senior High.
