One of the inner city communities in the southwest of Calgary is Scarboro, where it is just west of downtown. This community used to be maintained and owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway up until the year 1907 but was annexed by the Calgary City for plans of residential in the future. Since the year 1910, Scarboro is for residential only, which means that the community is exclusively for residential developments only. image1

    Living in Scarboro will give you views of some of the areas in downtown and in Calgary itself since some homes are built on the foothill elevations of the area. The community is rich in services and amenities that residents will find useful and definitely enjoyable. There are also schools in the community, namely the Sunalta Elementary, Mount Royal Junior High and the Western Canada.
